Try Dives

We offer regular Try Dive events. With the aid of an instructor you can experience being underwater in a safe and controlled environment. These sessions normally give you approx. 45 mins underwater.

You will be given a safety briefing to ensure that you have a basic understanding of the diving equipment and underwater environment. You will need to demonstrate that you can swim a few lengths of the pool, but we aim to conduct everything in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

We can normally arrange a try-dive with a week or two notice. The cost is £10, which is refunded if you then decide to join the club.

Once you have joined the club, you can participate in the Ocean Diver course, designed to permit you to dive with experienced divers or divers of a similar grade (within defined limits).
